It would be nice to be able to click and drag the channel tabs to order them differently without having to close them and reopen them. Much like the tabs in browsers.

You have three options...

1, Join the channels in the order you want them...

2, Windows -> Order -> Add channel names -> Move them up/down in the order you want.

; This will sort everything (channels and queries) in A-B-C Order...
3, Tools -> Options -> Display -> [check] Sort buttons -> OK

Thanks! I didn't know you can do that. :-)

Though it would still be nice to be able to do a simple click and drag.

This has been suggested before and I agree, it would be a nice feature.

It would definitely be useful to have draggable switchbars. The Window -> Order feature gets the job done but it is not intuitive or easy to use at all. If you're on 20+ channels but want to move 1 channel at the beginning of your list to somewhere near the end, you have to map every one of those channels above the channel you're moving... manually.
