Hello, I have a script that allows me to have rainbows and such appearing after what I type and post to the main room. I can use the script editor the script is pasted to the window and everything but how do I use it?

I thought it would be something like paste, compile and run the script but its not working.

It comes up with "incompatible encoding" after these rainbows appear from other users when they post something in the room on colloquy. If that helps.

Thank you in advance.

mIRC uses only unicode encoding. If you're trying to use other encoding, it won't display correctly. You may have to change your script to use unicode.

As far as using the script editor, you can put the script in (typing it, pasting it, or loading it) and then just press OK to close the editor. That's it. mIRC scripts are not compiled and are run automatically if they are loaded.
