I note the article at http://www.zdnet.com/blog/security/openssl-fixes-six-security-holes/9975 refers to OpenSSL versions 1.0.0f and 0.9.8s. Is this for us? The link on the mIRC SSL page -- http://www.mirc.co.uk/ssl.html -- directs to http://www.mirc.co.uk/downloads/openssl/openssl-0.9.8r-setup.exe -- is this even for us?

You don't have to download the SSL installer from mirc.com, you can get it from anywhere. I'm not sure if it actually affects IRC, though, that's to be seen.

Whew, that was fast. I see http://www.mirc.co.uk/ssl.html has now been updated.
