//echo 1 $findfile($mircdir,*.*,0,echo $1-) returns a number instead of all the files in $mircdir.

It is expected, the help file should just details that, as it does for most of others identifiers if not all, if N is 0, it returns the numbers of files that matched the expression, same for $finddir
