oke this is just a stupid error and really not a big deal but i was experimenting and found this:

i tried to use a variable %test in the timestamp events box
(options->IRC->Messages)

the moment it tried to use a timestamp mirc crashed.

i understand that the timestamp isnt supposed to be used that way and thats fine, i just think maybe a parse check or something there would add for a more user-friendly Mirc

*and by parse check i mean checking if the eventbox doesn't contain stuff that isnt allowed*

confirmed, but it would be a useful feature if a %var or an $identifier could be used
