Forums mIRC Help v7.1 can't see the chinese?

i updated v7.1 from v6.x recently. but the chat room can't display the chinese.do i have to uninstall and use the v6.x ?

Please see this. In short, mIRC will display Chinese and all other languages just fine as long as they are in Unicode. If your server or channel is using code pages instead, then they should switch to Unicode so that everyone can see what's said there instead of having to switch back and forth between code pages. If that can't be done, then you will have to keep using 6.35 until it is done.
