there was a person that I was having problems with on my channel. And before I could give him the boot, he got into my account and changed the password and took over the channel. How can I retreave my channel.

can the password be sent to my registered email address? or reset to what it was a couple days ago?

There is nothing that we can do about this. mIRC is just the software you use to connect to an IRC network and this is a network-specific problem.

Try contacting the network staff. Usually there is a help channel (e.g. #help ) on the network. Look for clues in the Message of the Day by typing /motd on that specific IRC network.
