Hi,

I have this problem on Windows XP Professionnal SP 3, but not on Windows 7.

When I try :
Code:
//Speak test one
//Speak test two
//Speak test three
//Speak test four

It only speaks "Test one", the other "speak commands" just stays in the queue without anything happening.

Can't reproduce this on Win7, maybe an XP issue?

Update about the issue :

I went to "Control panel \ Voice" and selected "Microsoft Sam" instead of "LH Michael", and now it's working fine. But using the voice "LH Michael", it doesn't work. Tried with "Microsoft Mike" and "Microsoft Mary" and they are both working fine too.

So maybe it's not a mIRC issue afterall...

Thanks, it seems that the "LH Michael" voice/engine does not support some of the newer SAPI5 features, so mIRC was not receiving speech notifications from it. The next version of mIRC will use a generic method that should work with both older and newer voices.
