Forums mIRC Help Problem moving between sentences

After years with Windows XP I moved to Windows 7, and I proceeded to install the new version of mIRc, 6.35 (before I think I had the 6.21)
However I have a problem. Before, when I wrote, let's say, ten different sentences, I could move back and forth between them using the arrow keys. However not I can't. Is there anything I should do? Maybe switch to an old version?

That should still work. There may be a setting for it in mIRC options under Display or Other, but I can't remember for certain and don't have mIRC in front of me right now to check. I know it works with 6.35 in Win7 Ultimate 32bit.

Options > Display > Options > Editbox lines: Single

Or just hold down Ctrl when pressing the up or down arrow key.
