I have a problem when downloading files through xdcc with japanese characters on their names.
They always get downloaded with bugged characters and not the original name.
Can this be solved somehow?

If your operating system doesn't support filenames with Japanese characters, then it won't be possible. You can, of course, install the Japanese language in your OS and then it might work. I've never worked with other languages for filenames, so I can't say for certain.
