Has been working fine up until now with irc.quakenet.org but some adware or summat (search engine and krapp that loads with IE) called Tjar has found its way onto my computer. Now whenever i try to connect i am given the identity malice.tjar.com and IP adress is now 62.252.***.*** instead of the usual 80.4.***.*** which i get from cardiff NTL.
Can some1 help please...

I can't find much information on this; It appears to be some type of browser hijacker, however if it is managing to change your host in a standalone application it could have done a lot worse.

Check your dial-up networking settings (if applicible) and make sure your account hasn't changed, and that it is dialing the correct number. Download an anti-spyware tool like AdAware from tucows or download.com and scan your system.

Hope that helps. smile
