Forums mIRC Help pleae help

Hi, i just got a new laptop and it has vista on it, i've tried to install mIRC it installs ok till you try to click on the icon to load mirc then it disappears and says it no longer exists.
My brother has an older laptop(like2-3years old) with vista on and it works fine, but for some reason i cant get it to work on this one.
I've tried different folder locations, i even tried it by putting it on an usb flash card but it still wont work and disappears.
Please Help!!

Most likely your antivirus is removing the mirc.exe file.
The obvious solution is to add mirc.exe as an exception to your antivirus program.

This sounds like your anti-virus is treating mIRC as an infection and deleting the executable.
Try disabling your anti-virus, then installing mIRC.
