Hello is it possible a new version of mIRC 100% compatible for Windows Seven. The 6.35 version of mIRC is not fully compatible with Windows Seven. It is more stable with Windows Vista.
Thank you for a new version!!

Right now there are only 2 known and very minor issues with Windows7.. exactly what is the "stability" issue here?

Minus those two issues (which will likely be resolved by the next release), mIRC is fully compatible with Windows 7. You can call it 99.99% compatible right now, if you'd like.

A stability problem in the DCC.My second problem is that mIRC disconnects often of servers.Under Windows Vista I never had this problem of stability..

Of course it's possible, and, eventually, based on past experience, even probable.
However, like with any program that has to be made to work with a new/updated operating system, you (like the rest of us) will have to wait for the author (in this case Khaled) to release the updated program.

Can you provide steps to reproduce either of these issues? The TCP stack hasn't changed very much between Vista and 7 afaik, so there should be no real differences there. Perhaps you have to properly configure your firewall.

Possibly, but probably not. Again, do you have any steps to reproduce this?

This error, which has it's own huge sticky, definetely is not due to Windows 7, as I have encountered it with all versions of Windows from 98 up to, an including Vista.

I don't have a system with Windows 7 on it, so I can't make a determination as to if the problem is encountered more or less often than with other Windows versions.

When I'm on more than 5 server mIRC disconnects often you have an idea why ..

If I take my xchat no problem.

if you're disconnecting due to software abort errors there are tons of possible causes for this-- and its been reported on every version of Windows, as RusselB said, so it's highly unlikely to be an incompatibility problem. Generally it's a router issue. I'm not sure how you're testing XChat, so it's hard to conclude "xchat works therefore it's mIRC's fault".
