I have been using mirc for many years but since I have been using Vista I have ran into a few problems. I loaded mirc version 6.17 and 6.21 onto the computer but I cant get them to log. When I view logs I can see all logs but when I open a log I get a box saying "the system can not find the path" Anyone have any suggestions?
6.17 and 6.21 are both old versions and are not fully compatible with Vista. Disable UAC, install mIRC outside of the Program Files directory or use a more recent version.
Try checking: C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore It has to do with protection of the Program Files directory (and similar locations). With mIRC not knowing about it, some accesses and such get misinterpreted and so on and so forth...
