hello, one of my friends has changed his idle time via a script so when you whois him i find his idle time only 0 sec or 3 sec, 10 sec, like this
the question is :is there a way to know his real idle time? and thanks

mIRC's default response to CTCP Finger requests includes idle time, so you can try that.

If you just want to know how long he's been idle in a particular channel then you can use $nick(#,$nick).idle, but that's limited by how long you have been in the channel as it is simply mIRC keeping track of when it last saw a user do something.

The idle time in a /whois is a value reported by the IRC server. If he is manipulating it, it means he's sending messages somewhere frequently (which the IRC server sees as activity, thus resetting his idle time to zero). Therefore you cannot see his "real" idle time, since he hasn't been idle that long, according to the server.
