Forums Connection Issues disconnection issue

Hello

when i join a channel on Undernet it will join and disconnect and join agin. what can i do to correct this plz. i'm using mIRC 6.35.

There's not much we can do unless you provide at least some form of error message (the disconnection message)

that's the funny part i don't get any error messages.

Then what do you see?

Try use debug, /debug @debug , then let us know what you see in that windows when you disconnect.

this is what it does on /debug @debug. it looks like to me it just logging the channel activity. is it possible that sata drives could cause this?

the word disconnect or quit doesn't even appear in your logfiles. This generally means you aren't disconnecting.

What is in your status window?

What are you seeing that makes you think you are being disconnected.

when i join a room it join the romms but then disconnect and joins the room again.

the problem is with mIRC 6.35....i reinstalled and older version of mIRC and all the problems went bye bye....so I'm saying Bye-Bye to miRC 6.35....

There is no problem-- you never actually disconnected. You might have been using a script that was incompatible with 6.35 but you still have yet to paste information that shows your script actually ever disconnected.. it is not showing that.

i pasted all that was showing on my screen. i don't use scripts straight mIRC and Omenserve that's it....no matter to me my problem is solve.

yes i do understand omenserve is a script....but i didn't have any problems UNTIL I UPGRADED TO mIRC 6.35....so for me this is closed...please remove this thread...thanks

What's amazing to me is, millions(?) of people use 6.35 and this is the first I've heard of this issue, but ... according to you it's a problem with mIRC 6.35. Also amazing is that you were asked several times what exactly it is that you saw that made you think you were being disconnected, and not once did you give an answer. I happen to use OmenServe with mIRC 6.35, and have done so on 3 versions of Windows (XP, Vista & 7) and have never had one problem. Good luck.

AWW yes i did post all that was happening from my scren to here. my question to you ROCK is what version of omenserve are you using?

What you pasted showed absolutely nothing to indicate that you were being disconnected. So I asked you to explain to us exactly what it is that you DO see that is leading you to believe that you're being disconnected. You've yet to tell us what that is.

ok i apologize to everyone. what i did was upgraded my mIRC from 6.31 to 6.35 and that when i started seeing the disconnected problem. i remove my mIRC and did a fresh install of mIRC 6.35 and omenserve 2.71. all is good now, again i apologize and thanks for your help.
