Hi, Downloaded my last track on the 18th, can't seem to connect to the channel since then!

I get this message:

What Can I do?

Did you manage to connect to "irc.cdgnetwork.com" before? Double-check if it's the correct server name.
If yes, the server is probably down.
If not: the nslookup of irc.cdgnetwork.com returns the same IP as the lookup of www.cdgnetwork.com (which is weird at least). This page is in turn an alias of www.karaokeinfo.com - a website that doesn't mention "chat" or "irc" on its main page at all, but wants you to register (for money) in the first place before you get any info (and my impression of that website is that you won't get what you're looking for after a registration either...)
If you've already registered there: they have a support forum (linked on the abovementioned website) for their users.

I have been able to connect and download for the past almost 3 years up until 18 April Last week.
Don't know what to do?

Hi,
I read a couple of posts about trouble connecting to a server.
I'm trying to connect to both these servers:
* Connect retry #8 irc.ratzbag.net (6667)

and just can't seem to connect.
I tried some other channel suggested by a post and I could connect to it. This tells me that it is not my firewall or ports.

Any suggestions?

Yes. Use a server that works. "irc.ratzbag.net" does not.

That's not a valid internet IP, it would send you to your own local network.

I don't understand..
I didn't change any of my settings and this was the exact server I have connected to up until the 18th of April 2009?
Nothing changed on my pc settings, I did exactly what I have done before..

I just got this issue and I have not been on in some time. Did you get this fixed?

Please read my reply above. The summary is as follows: the server is not valid. It does not exist.

It might have existed in the past, but things change, and the past is not the present. The server no longer works.
