Hi folks,
after reading FAQ and searching in MIRC-options, i didn´t find out where i can change a value how many textlines are shown in a chan. My MIRC only shows about 30-40 lines per chan. If any new messages appear in a chan, the oldest line is deleted automatically frown So i canot scroll back e.g. 10 hours to check what was written in this chan.
MIRC is newest version v6.35

Check your options, section "other". (View Screenshot)
If your "Window Buffer" Value is a lot smaller than mine, try increasing it.

Hi Pivo,
thanks for your answer!
My window buffer is also 5000 (which should be default?). Does anybody know where this value is saved in any *.ini file? I edited .ini file manually (servers, username e.g.)as i upgraded from a previous version to MIRC v6.35 and didnt want to make all those changes and config again on my other Computer. Maybe here is some error smirk
Does anybody have the code so that i can compare?

5k is the default. The setting is stored in mirc.ini, topic "options", item "n3", first token:
Code:
//echo -a window buffer is set to: $gettok($readini($mircini,options,n3),1,44)
