Forums mIRC Help grayed out copy paste from packetnews.com

I realize MIRC and file sharing service packetnews are not related but PN was the best source for obtaining files and pasting to MIRC. The paste function is not working with PN and if you attempt to manually type in the command to MIRC it wont register. Does anyone know the status of PN as to whether or not it will be fixed or is this permanent

Why are you even using mIRC to try and find files?

Not that I download much software, but from my experience torrent clients are by far the best medium for that sort of thing.

who says i use mirc to find files? I was using packetnews then copy and paste to mirc. There is no packetnews any more

Find / download files, whatever. It's all the same.. mIRC/IRC is not a very good medium for filesharing.

The problem here is either that you can't type properly or that you don't know what it is you should be typing. When you hover over a pack number on PacketNews it tells you the command it will try to copy to clipboard. mIRC does not care whether the text is pasted in or typed manually.
