Hi all.. I have a problem.

I have a friend who is using Windows Vista on her laptop. She had to reinstall mIRC for some reason or another and now she can't right click ANYwhere in mIRC. She tries right clicking a nick, or a channel, or anything and NO menus pop up or anything.

She can right-click fine in all her other prgs. It's driving her insane. She even tried installing a new copy of mirc 6.35 into a seperate directory - with no luck.

Help!!! (please)

Most likely the popups are not loaded. press Alt+P then go to File -> Load... and find the popups.ini file in the mirc settings directory. You might need to do this for each popup type (each item in the View menu)

to go through all that is a pain and not worth it. I am having big problems with packetnews. The slots are not visible on the page. When i try to copy paste file on mirc there is no text to copy because right click on paste is grayed out . I wonder if this is permanent or temporary with packetnews. Almost two weeks and counting

Why are you hijacking someone elses thread with your packetnews bs? This has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with mIRC. It's packetnews. Complain to them.

In addition, be so kind as to stop randomly opening new threads about the same problem.
You created 3 topics about your issue with PN so far (one at "general discussion" and two at "mIRC help"). In your own replies here, and here you stated the problem isn't related to mIRC at all.
