Only option that I can think of is to not call for the channel central dialog.

If you still need the information that is in the dialog, there are a number of identifiers/commands that will recall/set the various modes.

Use the dot prefix with the channel command, i.e. /[color:red].channel #channel[/color]

Oh, sweet.

Had been wondering about that myself but never thought about a solution, especially not such a simple one.

In case someone's having trouble figuring out what to do with the information in the post above:
alt + o -> Mouse -> Channel: /.channel

Thank you Collective.

no need for the / there, not in remote or alias ether, just when you type it your self you need the / smile

if ($me != tired) { return } | else { echo -a Get a pot of coffee now $+($me,.) }

Right. Well, the commands in the Mouse/double-click section in the options are all prefixed with the / by default, so I just added the period. :|

/help RAW events

Use /debug or have all (* wildcard for <numeric> in a raw event) raw messages and their numerics echoed to find out what the numeric for each line of the whois output is and what exactly the raw message is,
so you can parse and echo it yourself, and halt the default text.
