Yes. All /commands need you to quote filepaths if there's a space in them.

Additionally, the quoted path will work even if there was no space(s) in the path or filename.

Another alternative, that is possible in the future, but not at the moment, is to have Khaled make directory and filename identifiers include the quotes by default.

Well, ok it's a trick question.

The best way is to put mirc.ini in your root directory.

Other than that, yes, quotes are good for reasons mentioned.

I don't know what you mean. How does having mIRC save data to the installation directory make anything easier? You still have to use $mircdir and $scriptdir correctly and you still have to quote paths with spaces.
