Hi guys

Being a somewhat accomplished scriptor, at least to my own rather diminished eyes, I've decided to turn my hand to something different than the same old stuff I've been working on. I decided to write a novelty script which substitutes letters for the unicode braille dot patterns. Unfortunately, the scripts editor does not wish to cooperate with me in this effort. The unicode keeps outputting as large mocking question marks. I can copy/paste the characters into the main edit box and have them come out in the channel, but if I try to get a script to do this, it won't work. I'm using v6.17 and windows xp. What can I do?

$asc returns 63, which is a question mark.
