A lot of people have either linked to sites and then parsed the data to accomplish this. However, this being done in the application itself would definitely be useful. Just as in MS Word it underlines the text that is misspelled. I would suggest mIRC do the same in the editboxes or even to change the color thereof.

Those are a couple good points. I understand that languages will differ, and in that respect I would suggest making language addons instead of including them. Have the user download the desired dictionary. If the compilation of these dictionaries is a problem. Ask the community I know a lot of people would like to say "That's My Dictionary!" Sometimes a challenge is a good thing. cool
