I recently bought me a router (TP-Link WR841N) and from that moment on my xdcc downloads started to get instable. Sometimes I can download 100% of a file without any problems and other times it crashes my onboard network adaptor, so that I have to reboot to get it working again (repairing and reactivating doesn't work). This problem only occurs with xdcc downloads, I have no problems or whatsoever while downloading from other sources like rapidshare, bittorrent and so on. My connection is absolute stable when I'm not using xdcc.
I also tried it unsuccessfully with activating DMZ on my router. Also tried to upgrade my router firmware, but that didn't solve the problem either. I'll buy me a networkcard and deactivate my onboard network-adaptor, maybe that'll fix it, but I still hope to get around this if u guys have a clue of what my problem is, thanks.
