How come the default scriptdir is C:\Users\xx\Appdata\Roaming\mIRC\ ??

Is there any way I can change this.

Copy all the files from that directory to the same directory as the mIRC executable and mIRC will default to using there instead.

$scriptdir is always the directory the current executing script is in, so you can't change that. Just save the scripts to a different directory.

If you mean $mircdir, then you can use the command line settings to run mirc from another working path with the -r switch (/help command line)

- argv[0] on EFnet #mIRC
- "Life is a pointer to an integer without a cast"
