OP Seek Mostly harmless S Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 1	I don't know a single thing about this firewall thingy. I just bought a linksys 4 port router. I hooked everything up, did everything in the manual. And its great that everything is working. Well Everything but IRC is working hehe : ) I just can't connect to any server. I mean, I saw this other post about some router problem too. but can anyone Idiot proof the solution or something ? Cos i really don't understand. I'll really appreciated it if anyone would help me with this problem.

The prob could be you are blocking the ports the servers use, generally 6660-6669, 7000-7002 and port 113 for identd.
