Forums mIRC Help mirc auto switches windows

well i looked around and i can never find the solution to this MIRC "glitch"
what happens is that mirc automatically switches to this one window every 5-10 seconds... it gets really annoying when typing because i have to keep switching windows otherwise i end up typing it to the wrong window...
it always switches to this window, but not back so it's not like it's scrolling through all the windows, but rather it just seems to like this window, alot...
any help would be greatly appreaciated, because the only way i've been able to fix this problem is a re-install and after it happening so many times i woulden't mind knowing what the actual scource of the problem was

it switches to the #YYYYYY one no matter what i do...

Sounds like you have scripts running and/or are using an old version of mIRC

What is the output echo'd in your active window of typing the following command in mirc?

//echo -a $md5($mircexe,2) $version $script(0) $dll(0)
