Just installed Vista x64 from vista x86.

Installed mIRC but the strangest thing is happening...I open it up, I can set my info, connection info, perform info, etc. Connect to a server...anything.

But when I type anything over 1 letter/character mirc crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I've even gone through and manually deleted the C:/Program Files (x86)/mIRC directory, the C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\mIRC directory and the registry entries before doing a reinstall.

Nothing seems to be working - any ideas?

Forgot to mention something I probably should have - I did manage to type more than 1 letter on the first run.

/load -rs asdasdas

in order to grab the appdata direct path. (It'll say couldn't find safsdfsd.mrc in PATH).

Then after that it started doing this. But i do that EVERYTIME i install mirc...and this is the first time it breaks...

Could be a coincidence maybe not though.

I think it's a coincidence, I'm running mIRC under Vista x64 as we speak.

- argv[0] on EFnet #mIRC
- "Life is a pointer to an integer without a cast"
