It's hard to read, ugly, and it messes up stats generated for a channel:
Edit: A friend noticed that it inputs all the characters in raw in whatever charset they came as. So if you change the charset in the reader, the selected charset's characters is displayed correctly:

...so... It would be awesome if you could choose in the log options to save the log files as UTF-8 (and mIRC would convert all the characters to UTF-8 before putting them in the log).
