My idea is to allow hiding of the button on the windows taskbar when a custom @window is opened... I use mIRC to make custom menus with @windows and it works really well smile

But it stinks that the button in the windows taskbar is always coming up. The -h option only seems to hide the @window from the mIRC switchbar, not the desktop taskbar.

I have many more menu ideas that I would like to apply, i just need to find a way to hide those buttons.

EDIT: I'm just trying to avoid using DLLs. I find the mIRC way of doing things is usually faster and easier to trouble shoot

EDIT2: my bad ... :P ... the suggested modification:
/windows -dN

where:

N = 1 ... to show the button in the windows taskbar
N = 0 ... to hide the button in the windows taskbar

and if possible -d with no N would default to 1

You can use /window -d +L @test to do just that.

Thanks argv0 ... I can't believe I missed that given how many times I scoured that page for a switch to do that! LOL

I hope the admin will delete this thread ... this is embarassing ...
