when i try to dl mIRC. it downloads everything besides the program itself.

If you're using the download button from www.mirc.com/get.html, then you'll be re-directed to the download which is on Download.com

This is the download which is the installer, which, in turn, contains everything else.

If you're trying to get mIRC from some location other than that linked to above, then you might not be getting the proper program.

Keep in mind that some Antivirus programs will delete the EXE file when installing if you don't have them set up correctly.

well i downloaded it before like 4 times with no problem.
but like 2 months ago i uninstalled it and now i try to install it and it doesnt work.

As Riamus already pointed out, your anti-virus may be deleting the .exe file... If your anti-virus program hasn't been updated in over two months, then I stongly recommend you get that updated first.

Check the settings in your Antivirus program or else disable it until after you download and install mIRC. There are usually settings somewhere that will prevent it from removing the mIRC executable file.

What exactly do you mean by "downloads everything besides the program itself"... the mIRC download is one .exe file, so its all or nothing. Are you actually downloading any files at all?

I am pretty sure he means that it installs everything but the exe.
