I searched the forum for this already, but couldn't find the same question/issue.

My issue is that I'm dual-booting Linux (Ubuntu, with WINE) and Windows Vista. I have my own decently customized version of mIRC, with a fair number of custom scripts, but more so custom graphics and settings that would take too long to do from scratch. I've found the folder of all the settings (Aaron/AppData/Roaming/mIRC) and copied it to a flash drive, but I don't know how to apply the settings to mIRC.

Also, any idea why mIRC crashes when I try to open the scripts editor?

You copy the mirc settings to your mirc folder under wine, which is probably ~/.wine/c/program\ files/mirc

though i'm not sure.

mIRC crashes under wine because wine isn't perfect.. You could also try upgrading to 6.31 or maybe updating wine because I don't have the script editor crash under wine in OSX using 6.31. If the problem persists go to the wine hq forums about that-- it would be their responsibility to make sure their windows implementation can run windows apps, and mIRC is not supported under linux
