I was curious if there is anyway to increase the flood threshold of mIRC to where you don't flood yourself off as easily. And while we're on the topic what makes you flood yourself off anyway?

When are you flooding:
If you send too much data to the server and the server doesn't like that. Depends on the server i suppose although servers in the same network usually have the same settings i think.

Think of it like i am giving you a drink (directly into you mouth). That's ok as long as i don't do it too fast, when i do it too fast you will close your mouth in reaction to it otherwise you might choke.

Go to mIRC's options, find the flood section, enable flood protection and check the "que own commands"
That should do the trick...
