Okay so I've generated my lists, sent my chanel ads, rejoined the chanel, lef it, rejoined, changed nicks, but no matter what, my sends and gets remain at an amazing number of - YES YOU GUESSED IT!!!
You or your ISP is blocking the connections. Check your router and/or firewall settings and make sure you're not blocking ports. Also, make sure that your Localhost inforation is correct in mIRC's options. Beyond what you can do locally, your ISP may be the cause. This is especially true if you're using a university or business network.
I believe file trading channels voice users who can provide files, or something. They are often +m. This person probably thinks the whole intended purpose of "voice" is what he has experienced in file trading channels.
