I download the Virtual Desktop of Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx) and Install it (is for having various desktops as in Linux)

I open mIRC (on 2nd Desktop) and all works fine until i connect and return to 1st Desktop, the mIRC app moves into

I mean.. mIRC appear on all Desktops

This just happend with this app. All apps (Dreamweaver, Notepad, Calc, IE, Firefox, Delphi, SQLYog, WLMail) works fine, just happend with mIRC. I test it with another app (i found the source code on www.pscode.com) and the only is mIRC

The problem happends when connect to a server and join a channel

What can be ?

i dont think mIRC was designed for use with Virtual Desktop. i mean there might be a addon that might help but i dont know of one. i have never heard of mIRC being used with Virtual Desktop. why would you use mIRC with Virtual Desktop anyways?

I don't really feel like testing that... I've tried virtual desktops in the past and I don't like them, but if it's specific to mIRC, you might want to post it to the bugs forum.

the virtual desktop tool only hides it from sight, not from the administrators ;-]

if such programs are not allowed and they decide to act upon breach of that rule then you are screwed either way :-P

but yeah, mIRC should work together with virtual desktop tools... only thing those do is show/hide the window upon selection of another 'desktop'

I also use mIRC with the Virtual Desktops powertoy, but I don't experience this problem.

Perhaps a certain setting causes it, but I'd put my money on a script.
