I have registerd and bought a version of either mIrc or Irc a few years back. After having my computer stoleing I can't for the life of me remember or find the version I had.

All I can remember is when you logged in there was a background of a spaceship (like Star Trek) and it said "Welcome you have joined the channel" - then all of the boxes came up such as chat, movies, music, tv, mp3, and so on.

If anyone can tell me where I can find this version I'd be so happy.

What you had was a script, not a version of mIRC. Seeing as there are thousands of scripts out there it's near impossible to tell you which one you had unless, by chance, someone happens to recognise the description as one they've used.

You can search scripting websites such as www.mirc.net www.mircscripts.org and www.mircscripts.com but other than that... good luck!

All you also have to do is remember the name of the script. And then Google it.

For example, suppose someone did a /ctcp <Your Nick> Version. Then likely, your script would /ctcp back the script's name. Find someone that has old logs or a better memory.

Usually the name of the script is everywhere in your mIRC, to when you open it, the titlebar, etc. Most scripts I know of have to be relayed by default in the quit message and such. So find someone whom has old logs and a good memory.
