Hi,

I just installed the latest version of mirc (6.31). I'm having trouble figuring how to pm (query) someone immediately by double clicking on their name in the main window. It works if I scroll and search for their name in the users list, but I find it really frustrating doing it that way in a channel with over 500 users.

If anyone can help me solve this issue, much would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well I know that, thanks.

I guess I wasn't clear, but what I'm looking for is to double click on their name in the main window (where you see all the chat), and a query window pops up with that particular person.

You can see this used in nonamescript I believe.

You should be able to double-click on a nick in the channel window and have a query window opened. If shift key is enabled for hotlinks then you will need to hold the shift key then double-click on the nick.

To disable the shift key for hotlinks...
mirc options (alt+o) > other > keys button > de-select shift key enables hotlinks
