My bot has a remote login script. It sets the address at a certain user for an hour, and uses a timer to remove the user when the hour is up. However, if the bot has a connection fault and disconnects for a moment, the timer halts. I read about the -o for offline switch in the help files, but I do not understand whether or not a -o timer runs online AND offline, or just offline. Can anyone clarify?

An offline timer doesn't care about the online/offline status. It just runs.

As opposed to a non -o timer that will only run when connected?

Normal timer is online only, offline timer is offline and online.
