By name, I'm going to presume you mean the nick that he uses, in which case it's part of the nick that he's chosen. If it's somewhere else, or if you can confirm that it's not part of the nick, then we're going to need to know where you're seeing it.
maybe you mean "!" and not "i" ? how to know? well if hes at the top of the nicklist then its a "!" if thats the case then thats the rank and that means hes a channel admin
