Forums mIRC Help Getting mIRC to Open and Work

I have downloaded the program mIRC. When I try to open the program, i get an error message "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item". Can anyone help me with this problem, or send me in the right direction?
