The fact that this bug hasn't been fixed yet, considering that the original report was made about 16 months, and 4 releases ago, probably means that Khaled hasn't been able to find a working solution.
As to users and bugs being ignored, the fact that every release of mIRC, except for the very first release, has contained bug fixes, contradicts your claim.

You should also add that 99.5% of every bug fix and feature addition to mIRC originates from a post to these forums, but that the inverse is not and should not be expected to hold true. Suggesting or reporting something does not automatically guarantee that Khaled has the time or ability to address the issue. Expecting otherwise is completely unreasonable.

I knew it was a high percentage, but didn't realize it was that high, and didn't want to give a number without some kind of basis to back it up.
