Is anyone on the board familiar with SPR Jukebox? I am seeing strange behavior with it and mirc 6.3.
When I tell it to update the list of music I have, it logs on a new mirc session.
I have a feeling something has changed, but not sure what.
Any ideas and/or input would be appreciated.
Thank you.

The phrase 'logs on a new mirc session' is ambiguous. We need you to clarify. Do you mean that a new instance of mirc.exe is run (you have an additional taskbar button). Or do you mean that a new server connection is created within your existing mirc.exe instance? Or do you mean something else entirely?

SPR has always run a seperate mIRC instance when generating the list, it does this so the mIRC you're using doesn't feeeze during the operation, and it would. Notice there is listbot.ini in the SPR directory, that is the mIRC configuration file ($mircini) SPR uses for the new mIRC instance. Also, SPR Jukebox is outdated by a few years, last release was 2001 and was not coded for mIRC v6.x (lacks multi-server support among other things), you should try OmenServe instead.

Has anyone figured out why mirc 6.3x actually opens a new instance of mirc, instead of just updating the list in spr? I know spr is "outdated and old" but it's still my preferred script for playing mp3s.... the line that is the problem with mirc 6.3 that wasn't for mirc 6.1x is---
.run -n $mircexe $sprdir(listbot.ini) | .timer638 -om 0 10 /list.done
with mirc 6.3x the new instance of mirc actually opens and logs onto irc, didn't happen with mirc 6.1x...
