Forums Bug Reports DCC send/get on desktop does not work anymore

Hi,

I tested this behavior with 2 different installations of mirc 6.3. I checked the checkbox to open dcc windows on desktop and not in the mdi window. This worked in 6.21.

But mirc 6.3 hides the windows, I have no chance to see it or to accept/reject a file in case of resume.

Any hints?

I'm unable to confirm this on mirc 6.3 .
Can you describe steps to reproduce the bug ?
What os are you using ?

I use mirc 6.3 on Win XP pro, SP2 on both computers. Following options are set:

Display->Options->Windows [x] Get/Set
DCC -> (*) Auto get file and [x] minimize.

To test where the window is opened I used the lime

//dcc send $me c:\test.txt

add: It works when deleting mirc.ini, so I think one stupid setting is the reason. I'l try to find ist tomorrow

Ok, found it. There was an row

wdccs=63,240,63,230,0,1,0

in mirc.ini that causes this behavior. And there seem no chance in mirc to resolve it, only removing this row helps.
