Forums mIRC Help Mirc 6.1 chat or seach window do not opem

Hello

i'm using mirc 6.1 on windowxp. when i send a message by doing /nsg in the channel screen i don't get a popup window from the other party it goes to my status screen. i have this problem as well when i do a @find in the channel window. search results go to my status window. what can i do to stop this from happening plz.

/nsg arent a command in mirc, i guess you meen /msg, how ever you can hide that text by add a . .. /.msg nick message here . and add this to your remote (ALT + R in mirc) you maybe halt the text you see in the status window when list channels:

raw 321:*: { haltdef }
raw 322:*: { haltdef }
raw 323:*: { haltdef }

the windowa use to work now everything goes to the status window.

look for

raw 321:*:
raw 322:*:
raw 323:*:

in your mirc, "not the ones you added cos i asked you too", then add the line "haltdef" to the ones you had befor in your remote "ALT + R" in your mirc, then the problem should be solved. And you did remove the lines you added cos i told you too

look for raw in your remote files.. ALT + R in your mirc.
it should look like:

raw 321:*:
raw 322:*:
raw 323:*:

behind the : it would be some text, dunno what that is tho.

i want to chat ryt now using mirc but i cant open it....i already click some mirc favorites but there is nothing...how am i suppost to do with this?
