Forums mIRC Help log in problems

i logged in and then connected like ususal and the status window says i need a registerd nick to join the channel #karaoke-realm... so i tried to re-register my nick /ns password username and it doesn't do anything it just sits there it doesn't tell me if it accepted it or anything.

This isn't a problem with mIRC, but rather the server/network that you're connected to. My recommendation is to join the networks help channel (usually #help) and explain the situation to them. Normally IRCops sit in channels like that, and they can be of the most use.

i tried that and it tells me - unable to join channel (address is banned) what does that mean?

You're banned from the help channel? Weird. Do you know anyone else that's online on that network that would be willing to chat with an op or IRCop to get this figured out? If not, let me know what network you're having problems with and I'll see what I can do.

There have been lots of posts in regards to the karaoke.realm channel. I suggest you search the forums for that term and see if there's an answer in one of the other posts.
