Forums Feature Suggestions Window position save/restore

Hi,

It appears as though window positions are stored purely based on channel name. If I go to channel #foo on network 1 and to channel #foo on network 2, whichever position I save last, becomes the position for both of the windows! Needless to say, this is bad.

while this doesn't currently affect me, I was able to confirm it using a clean installation of mIRC 6.21

I think having server specific channel positions is pretty ridiculous. And I'm pretty sure this isn't a bug, although only Khaled can say.

Ridiculous? You may have no use for it but others (including myself) have. In fact I'd like to be able to optionally make network-specific every window-specific setting.

And many more of the currently availible mirc options as well.

Better multi network configuration/options/settings is certainly a regularly requested improvement.
