A quick survey of the code shows me that there are a number of variables being set, and then (supposedly) compared, although I see a number of discrepencies between what is being set and what is actually being compared, If you could tell us what it's supposed to be doing, we might be able to get you a better code. BTW: It's generally considered to be bad form to use a script that you don't understand and/or don't trust the person that wrote it. As you're asking here about settings for the script, I'm going to presume that you don't know who wrote it and/or you can't contact them directly.

You could change them in the code, but it would depend on exactly what you were wanting to change. Looking at the code, it seems that there's information or code missing that would allow settings to be changed, such as if the code is active or not.
