I've created a file with the name "SpeedFan.mrc", but mIRC will not load it nor create it in the script editor.

Also, it will not load using the "/load -rs SpeedFan.mrc" command.

I have asked another user to try it and they have also confirmed it.

Strangely, I renamed the file to "SpeedFan2.mrc" and it worked fine.

Try typing //echo -a $mkfn(SpeedFan)

If it echos something other than "SpeedFan", it means that "SpeedFan" is recognised as a windows device on your system. Same thing happens for "prn", "con", "global", "shadow", "ip" and various others.
