Need help!! Im going on holidays soon and want to access chat via irc and my mobile? i have an O2 XDA mobile gadget.. Is there some client software or java console i can install on it so i can access the chat servers??

You could have found out quite easily using Google. The XDA series all seem to run Windows Mobile so you can try wmIRC. As for Java MIDlets there's virca and jmIrc.

Edit: Oh, and make sure of your data/roaming charges, they can be excessive.

Man, if I was on my holidays I wouldn't want to go on IRC, even though I use it often. If you notice my signature, I go away on Saturday it's just so I don't forget to change it then.
